We are Crows Over New York.

Crows Over New York was the result of Joey Bonner, Stephen Guokas and Jed Mentzel starting Thursday's Special Is... and Tsi... falling through. Crows Over New York was born through the desire of music by three guys.  The three thought that they were set, but quickly learned that they needed a drummer. Joey had known Jake Bergmann for a few months, but the idea to have him in the band came from Stephen while the two watched Jake on stage in Grease.  The connection was then made... with one problem: Jake's shoulder was toast at the moment. With the band's first show on the horizon the boys needed a stand-in drummer.  They called up Alex Balister.  Alex was skeptical of the quality of the music and talent level of CoNY having never heard of them before.  That skepticism vanished when they played in a practice room at the high school.  After the battle of the bands at Grafton, Jed dropped for personal reasons, but he is still a close friend of the band.  Luckily the band acquired David Rothe after playing the battle of the bands with his band Kinderfloozy.  David played guitar and bass, but they weren't sure if he could play at The Rave, the first on-stage venue show.  Darren Thomas was then recruited to play bass. Unfortunately David had to drop because of time constraints and personal issues as well.  Jared Burris then auditioned and entered the band as the new lead guitarist.  The band currently stands five-strong.

Currently the line-up is:
Stephen Guokas - Rhythm Guitar
Joey Bonner - Vocals/ Piano
Alex Balister - Drums/ Auxiliary Percussion
Darren Thomas - Bass/ Guitar
Jared Burris - Lead Guitar
