We are Crows Over New York.

Crows Over New York was formed in January 2009 by Joey Bonner, Stephen Guokas, and Jake Bergmann. Joey was to sing and play piano, Stephen was to play guitar, and Jake was to play drums. Crows played their first show on January 24th, 2009 with fill-in members for bass, and drums due to Jake having an illness. After that show, Jake was replaced with Alex Balister for the position of drums and the trio began searching for new members. Driven by their desire to make music they stumbled across Darren Thomas who was then recruited to play bass. Shortly after, the band opened in Milwaukee, WI on April 21st at The Rave for the Bamboozle Roadshow. May flew by with two shows a week. June arrived and brought with it Jared Burris who auditioned for the spot of lead guitar. Jared was accepted into the band and then played his first two shows with the band on June 5th. June flew by with Crows playing four shows a week including charity events, graduation parties, and opening for the Let's Make A Mess Tour. June 28th through July 13th Crows recorded their debut studio EP "Your World Through Our Eyes". Crows is inspired by bands such as All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco, Forever The Sickest Kids, My Chemical Romance, THe Friday Night Boys, and The Cab. The quintet is dedicated to making music and there is never a time during a practice or a show that they aren't working as hard as they can. The band currently stands five-strong.

Joey Bonner - Vocals/ Piano

Alex Balister - Drums/ Auxiliary Percussion

Darren Thomas - Bass/ Guitar

Jared Burris - Lead Guitar

This group has never played a show with every member present except for the battle of the bands that started it all. They have played at houses, in banks, in garages, and at The Rave in Milwaukee.
